Thought there was already a negative reaction to McDade on here when his name was mentioned a couple o weeks ago.

Solid championship signing, I’m hopeful of us signing premiership quality players though.

Not really because if he'd signed for us I'd have posted the same comments

Only saw him in the televised games v us so not representative of his whole season but in those games i thought he looked an excellent player in a well coached Ayr side. Some Ayr fans didn't rate him very highly across the entire season though so I think you have to go on that opinion not just how good he was v us surely?

On really seen him v us too but what I'd seen of him I thought he was direct, pacy and whipped some great balls in.

You don't really think he only had 4 good games last season though surely?

I'd have loved him to sign for us Stokey but hopefully Robbie has better up his sleeve then.

Yeah, pretty much agree. If hed signed for us I wouldn't have been disappointed with it, but I'd also be wanting to see what he brings over the course of a whole season.

But when it comes to players suddenly being sh1te when they don't sign for you I can assure you the Dees are light years ahead of us on that.

Unless Ayr have a plan B they're not going to be challenging next season.
I take you didn't post it cause you hadn't met all the "Ayr fans to a man"....

No idea where you're heading Peter. I was repeating what I'd read on 2 message boards. I said he might be a good signing, based on what I'd seen on the TV games v us, what more do you want, comparisons with Messi ffs

If this is the level of signing Dundee are attracting then I’m happy enough.

He had a good night against us at Tannadice but everything that could go wrong did. Forced to bring on Rakovan early doors, Watson was a fish out of water at right back and Aird had one of the worst games ever from a United player and it cost him his career with us.

For every game like that he has 7-8 like the 90 minutes vs Auchinleck in the cup where he did nothing. Give it 6 months, they’ll turn just like they did with Woods, Curran etc etc.
