Hope so I was warming to Goodwin.
Surely Nelms wud have mentioned they were talking to Gordon Strachan.

Strachan was in the frame over 2 weeks ago, not as though Goodwin could have missed it but if that is the sticking point even though JG will still be in full charge of the team, he should just withdraw and let McPake get the job. Also bit of a nonsense saying there were 100+ applicants who weren't better than Miller or McPake, even Goodwin only has part-time experience. This needs concluded tomorrow, please.

The Sun boy now has McPake as 1st choice, presumably with Strachan as mentor. Nelms really doesn't have a clue, dragging this on for weeks for no reason phukk me. Here's hoping it's not another McCann disaster
