South Africa start with back to back defeats .
Remember 4 years ago in the last cricket WC, we/England also suffered an appalling loss to Bangladesh.
South Africa meanwhile look like they are a cross between has-beens & in-betweens, they surely arent even going to make the top half of the 'table'.

Who decided Ali could bat at 7?
He's been crap for 2 years now and has no confidence.
Any momentum we had went out the window as soon as he walked to the crease.
He could have been out 4 or 5 times before we were put out of our misery.
I'd have preferred Willey in the squad.
He can bat and Root's a decent bowler if we need another spin option.

Those two fresh air shots just before he got out were simply embarrassing .

Buttler needed to remain at the crease and unfortunately he got out when he did , it was always going to be tough once he went .

If Ali had been able to rotate the strike and hit the odd boundary we'd probably have won.
Buttler had to try to compensate for Ali's shortcomings.

Could be a big big score for England today , Roy and Bairstow are smashing the Bangladeshi attack all over Cardiff , 9 boundaries already after 10 overs .

    Very entertaining stuff .
