Whether or not we have the odd defeat to the perennial play off losers is way down my priority list.

Our last 3 managers blew up because they didn't have a good enough assistant or someone to pick the brains of higher up.

I believe ph leaned on WGS just b4 his most successful period as Dee manager after the new year game.

I didn't think Mcpake was ready but the much talked about structure behind him....he's maybe the perfect candidate.

When I used to do a bit of maths I was able to stumble across the right answer without being able to show my workings on how I got to the answer.

Maybe Nelms has got there even though his workings were all over the place.

Have to agree, 3 weeks of supposed due diligence on other candidates and McPake gets the role even though he meets none of the criteria. I'd like to hear from Goodwin's POV as a man making his own decisions has to be better than someone who keeps deferring. Oh well, good luck James and Jimmy, you'll need it
