Winks was their best player and he took the easy option to remove him as a younger player.

Sissoko is garbage,I was distressed to hear we were in for him a couple of years ago FFS.

I was at Old Trafford in 2003 to watch Milan v Juventus. Now that was a crap final and far worse than last nights in my opinion. Unfortunately for me European matches don’t have the same appeal when both teams are from the same country, even though occasionally you do get the odd great match like Man C v Spurs 2nd leg.

Overall, I thought that Spurs were slightly the better side. Any football, and there was little of it, came from Spurs. The penalty was dubious at best and did have an impact on Liverpool's outlook on the game. Basically, a very poor and dull spectacle.
