Dom Ball has been released by Rotherham after being on loan with us.

Anything has to be better than Rotherham...

    Easy signing for McInnes.

if that happens then he will fit nicely into this thread ,loaned to us then a permanent Don.

Depends on your definition of better things. Money better than trophies to you clearly. Trophies better than money for me

I never once mentioned money, just pointed out that he went from championship to PL and now may be set for a move to Man Utd so surely he bettered himself by going up a league to a bigger club? Im sure he got called up to the full England squad as well so again thats another instance of him going onto better things and no mention of money again

    Fair enough

I just think that trophies and Scotland call ups are better than what Maddison has done.

If he goes to Manure he will continue to win f@ck all

Aye , it wasn’t until the final whistle a few days ago that Van Dijk could truly have considered himself as having gone on to bigger and better things since leaving Celtic. Up to that point his career was going nowhere.

Van Dyke never played for the Dons though .

There are limited opportunities to win trophies and whilst that's the ultimate goal, there's always milestones along the way to measure progress.

There's no doubt that there are a number of players who have played for us and went on to better things.
We should be making more of it.

Im not talking about Van Dijk. Liverpool win stuff, so do man united, even when they are poor as Mourinho showed. Madison played for Norwich and Leicester where he was not going to win anything or even challenge. Yes he may be away to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world that can potentially win stuff. For now he plays for Leicester. Winning trophies , scoring a cup final winning goal and international call ups at celtic is better than that. Christie has went on to better things than Maddison, for now

Do you think its better to play in a corrupt small time league winning trophies than it is to play in a better league with better players.

Van Dyke may have won more if he stayed at Celtic, but he wouldn't have won the Champions League
