This new rap music 'Trap' I believe it's called is nonsense. Just a bunch of Muppets with face tattoos saying random words like:

Anything with too much wailing in it. We get the point love you can hold a note but don't beat it to death.

modern R&B - Can anyone explain to me where the Rhythm or the Blues is in this music?

Commercial pop, some daft young bint whining about lost love or that he bloke slipped it in the wrong un accidently on purpose.

Anything related the Simon 'Spray on hair' Cowell.

Anything that doesn't have balls or substance really.

That must be modern jazz you are talking about as the original jazz, Dixieland and Traditional is based on old negro spirituals, blues and work songs as well as the odd evangelical hymns. All tuneful stuff to listen to.
