Of Queens in a hooped top . Does anyone know anything about when we wore it as I hae no recollection of ever seeing it in old books , newspaper clippings etc. Maybe one for Ian Black but I dont know if he pops in here to read the https://twitter.com/hammerqos/status...18720?s=09Just click on Twitter link.

Actually spoke to Queens historian Mr Black on Friday and even he had never seen this hooped top before. The opponents look like Dundee and the Coo Shed looks like it is full to capacity.

Think this is obviously a "one off" as there is no club badge on the hooped shirt. Possibly a clash of the two blues?

The 'Dundee' centre half looks huge . Would Queens royal blue clash with what's looks like the dark blue of Dundee or maybe Raith ? I dont think so but this seems a bit of a mystery.

Yes mate , sure is. I have six games that Brown played at Palmerston for Dundee against Queens . They are 18/4/53 Qos 1-0--------12/2/55 1-1 ------- 7/4/56 2-1 Queens,------13/10/56 Queens 3-1--------22/2/58 4-0 Queens and 15/11/58 3-1 Dundee. It's one of those but dont know which particular one as of yet.
