Hmmm. Is his career is on a downward trajectory? Man U has been on a serious downward trajectory since SAF left and Moany actually bucked that trajectory (with all his histrionics, accepted). We can all now see where United is/was/is still heading under Frodo.

Sure he's enjoying millions from payoffs, diving on red carpets and pouting and talking buckets of sh'it from the pundit's sofa but just because fans and press have it in for him and he courts controversy, don't know how the two even measure up.

Only Pep can shade Moany in the modern game IMHO. Would bite anyone's arm off for him to turn up in our dugout, mate. Much as I love Rafa, if we're talking about wanting silverware across all competitions, especially competing in the PL, there's no question in my mind.

    Lol.

Distances himself from the Toon job because he is a winner.

Says he is pathalogical about winning every game and couldn't be somewhere that a 9th place finish equals a good season.

This is the difference between a quality manager such as Rafa and him and the Pardews and Kinnears of the world.

See Valencia now sniffing around Perez. First of many I'd say and there is noone in place to object to any if it now.

    Perfect scenario for the fatman.

He thinks the fatman's ambition is that high for Nufc.

    Ha

Some are saying if there is a delay in appointing a new manager then the takeover is on but if its done quickly no takeover.

I'm of the opinion there will be a delay in appointing the new man and no takeover.

The latest posibility of Gerrard is new on me.

Fits the "young, dynamic" profile he is looking for. Ie: naive and easy to lie to and manipulate.

That would pisss the Rangers fans off as well. 2 for one.

Gerrard pals with Rafa .I'm sure he's talked to Rafa about it
Doesn't matter how attractive the job sounds from the outside if your told what really goes on you'd be best off staying well clear tbh

Agreed, think Perez will be out the door shortly.

As you said it shows the difference between quality managers and your Pardew's.
