    Doonhamers up North

Joining Willie Gibson up at Peterhead are ex - Queens players Scott Hooper and Aidan Smith both players having left
Annan Athletic. Fair play to them in having to make a 500 - mile round trip for home games.

Is the young Henderson boy (goalkeeper? ) not up there now also? Goalie Greg Fleming ( not ex- Queens player I know) also travels up from the Annan area. Peterhead seem to have a good connection to that area and must be paying good expenses. It kind of makes a mockery of the idea that Queens can't attract players because of their geography with the central belt just an hour away.

Yes mate Sam Henderson was also on Queens books - it makes you wonder if Peterhead are paying better wages than Queens - the ex - Annan players will defo be earning more I expect.

Players playing part time at Peterhead have other jobs outside football ain't going to get the same wage going fulltime with many championship clubs, ie Rory Mcallister has played part time for years as not wanting to lose money going fulltime. Peterhead is known as one of the best part time teams in Scotland looking after there players very well.
