They're also crying the blues that the women's players should be on equal pay with men. That girl from Norway who is classed as the world's best player even refused to play in the WC as her protest at not receiving equal pay. The mind 'kin boggles.

Well the equal pay thing is bollocks. The standard-and worldwide interest-is nowhere near the men's game so why on earth should they be given equal pay? It'd be like a little-known actor demanding the same pay as Tom Cruise for being in a film with him. or something like that.

I have to say, I'm not a fan of watching it-nothing to do with gender at all it reminds me of schoolboy football-there's just not the same power and pace...and the 'keepers are shocking.

Having said that, I'm glad it's taking off-absolutely no reason it shouldn't. Funnily enough, I watched the BBC programme about the England women's team and Phil Neville comes across as a really canny bloke and a good advocate for the women's game.

Sorry, I sound like Trump there.

    Fake News
They’ll be having sleepless nights over this WC. Should we be in favour because it’s all wimmin or against because it promotes national boundaries!? Dilema, dilema.
