Forest granted 250 year lease on City Ground at the big planning meeting...

"Nottingham City Council have granted Nottingham Forest a new 250-year lease on the City Ground.It replaces the previous 50-year lease.
Councillor David Mellen, Leader of Nottingham City Council, said: “We share Nottingham Forest’s ambition for their redeveloped ground and have been pleased to work with them on the project."
Nottingham Forest Chairman, Nicholas Randall QC, said: “The club would like to thank all those connected in helping secure our long-term future at The City Ground."
And they will still win fcuk all.
They could just build on sand piled up which is now the norm in flood risk areas.
Sounds like this planning meeting was a load of fuss about nothing !
Notts weren’t even mentioned so what’s going on ?
Why is everyone missing the point? The rumour is that the consortium wants a slice of the pie for the Waterside Redevelopment. Notts wouldn't be mentioned in regards to this as it's a planning session that has nothing to do with the ground. What is important is that if it goes ahead, according to rumour, so does the takeover
