It is understood that Beckham is holding talks with Notts County Owner Alan Hardy at Meadow Lane today. Beckham is quoted as saying he has unfinished business at Meadow Lane and wants to get Sven Goran Eriksson as Director of Football.

    can't see anyone swallowing that!

I wouldn't hold my breath. It's probably just a publicity stunt by Lilian Greenwood to cast herself in a good light with the Notts County audience. Even if she gets nowhere, she still gets the credit for appearing to have tried. Can't fault her really, it's a smart move.
