    Transfer Rumours

With the end of June approaching, and many players contracts expiring, we hope the club have been active in looking for bargain free transfers.
Of course nothing is for free and any available player and his agent will be looking to pocket a fat signing on fee.
Swans are reportedly in talks to sign Plymouth Argyle’s attacking midfielder, 24 year old Portuguese Ruben Lameiras, who is out of contract this month and available on a free transfer.
Plymouth have sadly just been relegated to League 2 but Lameiras still managed to score 12 goals in a relegated team.

Remember Potter going to a Portsmouth promotion play of match, supposedly on a scouting mission for us, the week before he ran away to Brighton.
He was looking at Portsmouth player Matt Clarke. Clarke is now having a medical and signing for Brighton for £3.5 million.
Don’t tell me Potter didn’t know he was leaving Swansea. He’d already agreed to join Brighton, even though Swansea had refused Brighton’s approach for Potter.
He was actually scouting for Brighton whilst still employed by Swansea. We didn’t have £3.5 million to spend on players.

Cologne in for vdHoorn, hope he stays.
Birmingham striker Isaac Bassell linked with us, also FC Basel striker Aldo Kalulu.

So six new players signed, well pleased with that.
Surely that's it, with two days left of the transfer window.
As long there are no transfers out of our best players, only the high earners out please.

That should have read Sam Surridge, damn predictive text!
With all the new signings, the squad is looking stronger. Obviously Cooper doesn’t think any of the U23’s are quite ready yet.
Ravaged by the successful U23’s players being promoted to the first team last season, it is now a consolidation time for them.

Montero gone to Birmingham on loan last minute then. We won't see him again, last year of contract. Good luck Jeff. For us it's another high earner off the books.

League 1 Sunderland interested in Declan John after their failed bid for Kilmarnock left back Greg Taylor.
They bid 750k, nowhere near enough, as Kilmarnock rate him worth £3m.

Courtney Baker-Richardson has a groin injury and has returned to Swansea. He had signed on loan for the season at Accrington Stanley and started three games.
