It's your constant conspiracy theories which smack of being correct that really worries me Norder.

BT, you are in favour of a hard Brexit, you are not convinced about climate change and you are questioning our foreign aid budget.

Are you sure you are in the right party?

Spooky it is BT....but we walked ourselves into the parlour (said the spider to the fly)......as it is predicted that By the 2030s, virtual reality will begin to feel 100% real. We will be able to upload our mind/consciousness by the end of the decade.....so if all goes to pot - they enter us into the mother machine....meanwhile the non-biological intelligence will be busy fixing/modyfing the planets atmosphere, temperature, ecology etc through it's nanoworkers.....but then - did that happen already ?

Your dad is spot on. Italians are fantastic people. Hospitable, generous, humerous. Oh! and of course bloody good knife throwers.

I know for certain I belong to the right political party for me 1959_60. One that promotes fairness, solidarity, socialism, equality, compassion, tolerance and respect. The constant prevaricating over Brexit is not doing this country any good whatsoever. A No Deal Brexit will be BoJo's only option in October, mark my words it will happen.
Our Foreign Aid programme is totally laudable, but it's disappearing into an even bigger black hole than Sinkov's Gawthorpe. The more I research into it the more corrupt it becomes. It's become another gravy train for the NGO's, Charity CEO's and I find little or no evidence of the destitute and threatened kids in Yemen, Syria, Africa getting a drop of it.
I'm not at all certain how long Planet Earth has been spinning, but is it really feasible the last 70 years of human industrial activity can bring it off its axis?

At moments like these 59, I turn to thinking there may be hope for you yet, you refuse to fall for the virtue-signalling Foreign Aid nonsense that 59 swallows unthinkingly.
And as for the earth spinning off it's axis, well global warming, despite all the expert predictions, can't even melt the glaciers in Glacier National Park. I wonder if that news story ever saw the light of day in the Guardian or BBC, I suspect not, but 59 would know.

The human race has undoubtedly royally ****ed this planet to some extent with Plastic waste, deforestation, carbon emission driven climate change, natural resource stripping etc. Eventually without major changes in human habit we will make the planet inhospitable not in our or our kids life times but it will happen eventually. That said while there are people who believe the earth is flat and others who think they can commune with the dead I'm not going to worry about it.
