There are direct flights from Manchester to Hanover with Flybe.

From Hanover airport either rent a car and its a 35 minute drive to Barsinghausen or take the train into Hanover Central Station and then change for a train to Barsinghausen. Total journey time is about 1 hour 20 minutes if the connections work.

If you're just going for the match against FC Magdeburg in Schoningen, Hanover is still probably the closest airport. Getting to Schoningen from the airport or from Barsinghausen by public transport is a bit tricky. Looks like three different trains and a three hour journey. Car rental looks the best option.
