    I didn't say it was 'correct', same as Roofe's against Forest wasn't, but you win some and you lose some, the game's always been like that and I'm not sure it would be the same if every decision was clinically corrected by VAR.

    True, food for thought though, some of the most memorable talking points in football are the controversial decisions and the ones that were wrong?

    Ramos fouling Salah (deliberately imo) in 2018 Champions league final, Diego's hand of God, even England's goal against Germany in 66.

    The bad decisions are part of the fabric of football, making the good or lucky decision all the more sweeter and generates genuine interest.
