    Donít wear them either, I just love to see a plain dark navy blue top with white sorts and red socks, keepers with red or green tops with navy shorts

    We've only had red socks once since 1989 I think, been mostly blue since then. Red socks aren't traditional to the club, blue ones are. Red socks appeared early seventies and hung around for a while but in real terms for a 120 year old club they've been a rare addition to our kits.

    Personally I was brought up when red socks were in so for me they typify a Dundee kit but I don't mind blue ones at all.

    In my opinion the new strip looks more royal blue than navy blue.
