Being fair to Sid .... he is a socialist through and through to which he is entitled and I don't think his comment 'YOU' was referring to all posters on this board. I would offer the suggestion he was referring to those of us who post anti Labour party comments and ridicule the current hard left ideology of the Corbynista fools.

And on the same lines, the 'people deserve what they're going to get' - which people exactly? You seem to be excluding yourself from deserving Boris, but not the rest of us. I don't want that self-serving pillock anywhere near Number 10, but apparently I deserve him If I had to choose from any of the sorry-arsed lot of them, it would have been Rory Stewart. Streets ahead of them all, but far too straightforward to be PM.

Not following it closely but Stewart seems the best of a bad bunch to me too.

The leader of the Tory party and therefore our next Prime Minister (for a while) will be elected by a very small bunch of unelected Tory backwoodsmen/women/persons. The big problem with Boris (apart from him being a complete arsehole of course) is that half of his own party's MPs can't stand him. The geriatric branch of the Tory party will ensure he is our next PM, but at a time when the country needs unity, he will be unable to provide it.
