A possible return of a familiar face

Sorry this takes away from what else is going on.
A certain grant Hanley has been linked with a return to the club.
Interesting stuff, and even though I wasn't keen last time around,I believe experience elsewhere will have helped him mature into a better defender.
I certainly am more keen on this, than bauer.

I think if we act smart this summer and sign players like downing,Hanley,Westwood and Gallagher we could potentially be play off candidates.
We need to act swiftly as others will have similar aspirations.

I'm more concerned we are maybe going to lose Lenihan. Sheff Utd are poised to make another bid. Expected to be around £11m.
Ok, if we got Hanley in, and Lenihan went, we'd be no weaker than last season. Plus we would have money to go buy another. Bauer would likely sign then, as we look to close in on him in the next few weeks.

At some point in the next few weeks, the Championship transfer-market is presumably going to burst into life. At the moment, all the managers seem to be standing around like wallflowers, not daring to be the first to ask someone to 'dance', but once the process starts, a lot of activity is going to be concentrated into a short period!
