  1. #31
I'm funnily enough still in the it's still on camp
I think Ashley has fked Rafa off as he's playing a game with a few buyers
Trying to squeeze extra money out of the deal

A journalist from the BBC who says he has had contact with BZG says it's being looked at by the Premier League and Rafa leaving has no bearing or consequence for the takeover.
Imagine having to go through a fit and proper test to take over from Ashley.
Is there still hope,I hope so.That is all whats left.

Thing is, unless this group are totally full of shit -and I don't think they are-then there's definitely a chance it'll still go ahead.

Yes, I know that fatso could easily fuck it up but he wants to be the saviour of the High Street and needs the cash (as much as a billionaire can need cash...

I think there are interested parties. There have been for 11 years IMO. Just look at the number of English clubs sold since fatso constructively sacked Keegan.

The problem is, Ashley is making a sh1tload of £ out of NUFC, so why should he sell.

just been reading on twitter, yeah i know - but it also ties in with what sir John hall said about them looking for the money - the PL knocked back their 1st application because they were borrowing the money to buy the club - hence they have since been trying to find the cash from elsewhere.
apparently the pl wont allow clubs to be bought on borrowed money anymore so that they are permanently in debt/never paid off whatever. (like man utd with Glaziers) however it seems its ok to be permanently in debt to one of the biggest spivs ever to grace England and English football
