What is the thing with Hayden?

I seem to have forgotten why it's so important for him to get a move.

I know it's family-related, and if someone's sick that's one thing. But if it's to be with his girlfriend and baby, why can't he move them up north for a while?

    He's had a great 2019 so far.

His bairn born prematurely and needing regular medical care down where his girlfriend is residing.
It appears he feels/felt guilty about travelling down for brief visits rather than being there regularly.

Whether there's any change on that stance, I don't know.

If it's not possible to get treatment in Newcastle, I get where he's coming from.

It's also his missus family live near her so she has lots of support from them which she wouldn't have in Newcastle.

Whilst you'd think there was somewhere here they could get that level of medical care, I suppose if the family are involved in helping out then I totally get it.

Aye, it's his job and folk will argue he should do what it takes to fulfil his obligation to his employers-especially given how well he's paid-, but his number one priority is looking after his family and he has to do what is right for them first.

Big shame but I wish him well-and I think we'll get much better money from him than we would have.

    Exactly.

I'm fairly sure that he's said in interview it isn't anything to do with medical care etc. it is down to the fact she doesn't want to move 100s of miles from her family and he feels he's not being a proper father by only being able to do flying visits.

Thanks for clearing that up, I wasn't doubting his intentions, just couldn't see the entire logic behind him having to leave. But I do now. Godspeed, Isaac!

It’ bolloc*s if you ask me. She ain’t being told to move to Tehran. A bit of sacrifice on her part for her husband and his highly paid career would be nice.

It is a 1 hour flight to London, no sympathy for him. I have plenty of friends who have children with terrible ailments and are forced to work abroad and offshore to give the Kids a better life. They do so without complaint and believe me it is a 1 hour flight ffs London is like a Geordie having to drive to the land of Smogs
