Probably scripted, it was when Clarkson and Co were doing it.

Anything is better without Chris Evans though.

It had to be scripted when Clarkson, May and Hammond were doing it. The BBC were **** scared of them saying anything that wasn’t PC.

I think it won an award for best non-scripted show once even though it was written by Clarkson.

The later Clarkson and crew shows it was much more obvious it was scripted than previously.

The Guardian liked the new show and I think I can see why:
