    Rafa

According to a tweet from SKY reporter he was close to renewing his contract until the takeover was made public.

Perhaps he is just waiting for the outcome before deciding.

That makes sense. He will want to know his exact position and what he's able to rely on considering what he's had to put up with in the past, i.e. the empty promises and outright lies and back stabbing just to mention a few of his minor problems with the immense one.

Compared to players fees I don't think it is. You invest 12 million in someone like Rafa who can improve so many players - how much money could he make for the club for the cost of 12 million in increased player values, before you even think about winning anything.

Of course, some don't see it this way...........................................

Fair point it's just my old fashioned way of looking at football and the mad amounts of money involved. I am sure Rafa would more that recoup his costs
