    Cadden to Oxford United?

Oxford United have contacted the club asking how much compensation they would have to pay if they wished to sign Chris Cadden. Fee thought to be in region of £270,000 ( 9years x £30,000 per year) is standard figure

Also 5% sell on clause...tbh while I wouldn't be upset to see him stay, I wouldn't be gutted if that was the deal we got for him to go. I suspect a change would do all parties good.

Why would compensation be this low yet quoted around £400,000 for Hastie?
Suggests we'd get less than from Rangers.

It's different for international moves - there's just a standard formula. Inside a country the calculation is different and more subjective.

I suppose we could negotiate with Oxford about compensation......as long as we're told whats going on. Will Cadden turn up for pre season this week?

Club surely has to come out and tell fans who is staying and who is going. Club want fans to buy season tickets etc but why would you if you have no idea what sort of squad we are going to have unless it’s just blind faith.

That's always the situation we're in and this year it's actually remarkable clear.

Turnbull is obviously a question but other than Cadden - who we can't tell take it or leave it by day X - every other contract was resolved by the season's end. We're way ahead of where we#ve previously been.
