    Transfer Activity

    Seems deadly quiet at present, even with players due back for pre-season next week.
    Get feeling that pot is fairly empty, and much does rest on sale of Clarke / Phillips - no doubt any fee agreed will be undisclosed / and not in one lump.
    One or two decent players have again slipped past us -Elphick / Barbet, all free, with good champ experience, yet we seem hell bent on young players with " potential", fine but we have the U23 squad, bristling with much the same, surely its a few older heads needed to create the balance.
    Just hope this window, isn't a case of "all eggs in one basket again " as per the James saga.

    Would be nice if for ince we could react to a signing like Bantams fans have to the Paudie O'Connor transfer;

    Here's hoping.

    Same rubbish spouted by the media, just a different season.

    In reference to O'Connor, or lack of incoming?

    The tweets appear to be from Bantam fans, as much as anything in these new snow extracts can be seen as genuine.

    It would be nice for us to do some early business for once instead of watching others sign our supposed targets

    Look we know the score, Bielsa wants 3 wingers and a CB and we can't afford anything but loans, so why build your hopes up? Best we can expect is Harrison & White (as they can benefit from loans) and possibly Costa unless Wolves can offload him for a fee and we can afford his wage and Kent if the Liverpool allegiance with Gerard isn't that strong; and yes if Spurs make an offer upwards of £10m we'll capitalise on Clarke. Don't expect much more.

    Looks like a loan deal for Costa is getting closer

    Not bothered about forshaw possibly going to Fulham as I don't feel he offered much in defence or attack.
