We really need to win that first game. My memory is probably faulty here, but it tells me that we have been plagued with slow starts almost all the time I've been in NZ!
Does anyone know if there is a site that gives statistics of that type?

We do need to beat Charlton,and should beat them.
Touching on stats,I got told by a friend Blackburn tend to start as they ended the season previous,if this is the case I would be interested if you find a stat based site.
