    The match is in Schoningen GF - which is about 40 miles from Magdeburg.

    Get the impression that RUFC regards any Millers fans who have gone out there as potential distractions to the players in their training programme. Therefore... decided not to bother. Not the greatest public relations excercise by our club, but not out of character.

    It all seems a bit pointless the team going there anyway tbh. Is the German terrain really that much different from ours? Do they have facilities out there that we don't have access to over here? How much money does a trip like this cost? Flights, accommodation, transport, food and drink, insurance, facility hire etc for a group of around 30 - players, coaching staff, physios , this must be costing over £100k?
    Could probably organise something similar in Britain for a quarter of the cost.
