Hang on !!! We either have VAR or we don't - it should apply to all paid football matches in total. If a penalty can we awarded retrospectively then why the **** should the keeper be able to dance around on his line and move forward .Just like Henderson did for Shrewsbury at Wembley.

Most of our games ended around 5 last season. Add in VAR and we could be looking at 5.15. That England game took 135 minutes, admittedly due to some of the Cameroon antics.

If there’s a linesman looking across the goal line why is VAR needed for this?

How many results and trophy winners would have been altered if VAR had been used since football was invented in 1992?
