    Bilic seemed absolutely delighted!

All the usual platitudes reeled out.

Dowling talking gibberish and looking like what he is.......massively out of his depth.

I hope I’m wrong because I like Bilic but I can’t help thinking we’re merely a stepping stone whilst he awaits the next decent job in the Prem or in London.

I hope someone offers Dowling a job in London or in fact a job anywhere but I suspect we won’t be that lucky!

Slav needs to start pulling rabbits from hats toute suite unless he’s planning to try out the kids which I very much doubt.

I may be wrong but I think he is the sort of football man you would want to play for.

Yes he will be a tough boss but I think providing the likes of Dowling back him, and I don’t mean just in money, then I think he will ensure we improve on the field and I for one am absolutely over the moon with the appointment.

Bilic has said, "it won't be boring, that's for sure." That will do for me. After years of Irvine, Pulis, Pardew and Darren nice but dim Moore, i was losing the will to live.
Bilic has also said he is aware of our traditions.
He is saying all the right things, but now he has to deliver on them.

Luke Dowling's face is clearly too big for his head, he reminds me of a cabbage patch doll .

    Tom Watson.

His head is too big for his body and his brain is too little for his head.

    A devastating concoction.
