I've promised to put my arse on display in Burtons Window on numerous occasions, but I've never done it yet. When our politicians start keeping their promises, I'll keep mine. In the meantime the Pol Roger will continue to flow, big signings or not.

Slow down people, We may have signed Jay Rod,......But, WE SAVED HOW MANY MILLIONS, Not Signing Adams,...About £5 million,.And not signing Maoupay ,...But We DO Have an Ageing squad
We Need a Creative Midfielder ,...And have Done for yonks.,...
All well and good ,..But a little Creative influence in the Middle would go a long way,...?

I’m with you on this bfc I still think we need two more at least someone central who can run a game - pick a pass and physically compete , and a wide quick man as well.

This is based on I feel that Lennon May not be able to compete every game , defour seems to break down and his body can’t cope with physicality of league, cork is good but lacks pace and can’t play every game I don’t think, JBG plays in fits and starts not consistent, can’t trust that Brady will be back to his best and lastly I think it’s a lot to ask McNeil to deliver 38 games - there were games where he looked tired last year but managed to get through it ( I appreciate he’s young and will fill out and become stronger ——— he basically saved us on his own last year over 17-18 games not sure it’s fair to lay it all at his feet.

We have cover I appreciate that but I’d really like us to have a go at the league cup or FA cup this year stabilise in the league and go for a Trophy would be brilliant - more quality needed to achieve that I think.

I wasn't expecting us to lift the World Cup BT. From the first time I saw USA play I earmarked them to win the Cup. I was pleasantly surprised though at the effort and dedication they showed and Phil's determination to get the best out of the girls. Your could actually see the standards improving as the competition progressed. I think the USA have maybe reached their pinnacle but I reckon the others aren't far behind. In four years time it will be a competition not to be missed. Meanwhile let's hope that many more girls have been inspired to take up the sport. Ah that I was 50 years younger!! Don't know how I would have been with the ball but I could certainly shift!!! You're born with speed but you can work on the ball skills.
