    Thank god its over

An absolute disgrace the whole saga. Them and Lampard have been totally disgusting throughout the whole thing, Lampard another 2 faced charlatan then?!?! "My focus is here" absolutely laughable.

Taken them from the 27th May to the 25th June to get in contact lol, meaning we've done absolutely no preparing for the upcoming season

Please not Gerrard, if we finish 6th with him the media will go on about how a legendary job he's done and Liverpool will come calling if and when Klopp moves on

DCFCA - have you ever had a job? Still less employed anyone?

There is absolutely nothing "disgusting" or "contemptible" in any of this. Its just all part and parcel of negotiations. Chelsea had shortlisted Frank and also Benitez, who was only released from his contract a day or so ago.

They clearly preferred Benitez as an option, with Frank presumably as second choice. Benitez was offered a complete no brainer financially by Dalian in China, and also knew that Chelsea fans didnt take to him. So he cose China.

That meant Chelsea looked to their second choice and approached Mel.

Where is anything wrong in that. It happens all the time, not just in football.

If the speculation and press hadnt been swarming all over this for a month, it would seem perfectly natural. Anyway its a good job it is now official and we can equally officially move on to Lincoln!

Rowett got a load of abuse for something that took less time. Yes he was marked out in January but he signed the new contract which essentially committed him to the season and we ended up picking up form late in the season, was 45 minutes from Wembley after a pretty good end to the season. Yet he was lambasted and called a snake when he ended up leaving. Lampard has literally just done the same dirty, and has done after he gave that speech after Wembley ffs. Yet no one is allowed to criticise him for it lol.

He's a dirty rat end of debate, he did the bounce once or twice, got lucky in a penalty shootout a couple of times, got lucky with Holmes going off injured V Leeds, but ultimately ballsed it up with the starting 11 at Wembley.

But somehow he's the sodding prodical son.... prodical judas more like.

Leeds must be p**sing themselves right now

Yes they lost the playoff, but we spent the resulting 11 or so days mocking them and telling them their manager was going to dart it

We then lose the final and then our manager darts it..... couldn't make it up ffs

Frankie aint gone yet... though might not be a bad thing when he does as we can get on with things. We have no squad, no money, and no manager. Tough times ahead!
