I’m hearing Phil Neville’s name being whispered.....

Another name that’s gathering momentum...... I see that he’s second favourite on some betting sites!

A man whose career managerial experience spans a short time with Salford City Reds as a TV stunt, and a nepotic assistant managerial role at Seville. Really?

I managed a warehouse goods outwards department for a few months one summer as a student, which would give me as much men's championship level football management experience as that MA

Keep up Rich...we did this on the Lampard thread last night.

Have to disagree GP...the England women’s team is still management...very high profile management in the current climate.
He’s got massive playing experience, has almost certainly won more than Lampard so would command the respect of the players and certainly has more all round managerial/coaching experience than Lampard had.

I’m not at all sure who I’d want from the current crop. I know I don’t want any returnees, but would Neville really be such a bad shout?

Despite not being remotely religious, I would like to see one of two ascetic appointments: Monk or Cowley. Its habit forming, I know..........

    Thanks Statto.
Think it was Valencia not Seville though.
