Go for it or build slowly?

The latest go for it team to follow wolves and villa are Bristol city and stoke.
They have purchased real quality and will be genuine competition for promotion.
I am waiting for one of these teams to fail promotion, what then?
The football league like to penalise some teams for breaking the rules, but we are increasingly looking at consistent rule breaking and it being overlooked.

    Totally agree.
There is definitely a massive inconsistency in the way the so-called "rules" are applied.
I'm just hoping we are one of the two or three teams which - every season - take all the pundits by surprise. I'm not expecting a promotion-challenge, but top-ten would be nice!

The main issue is these clubs have support. We don't. Yet if you go on places like LET our fans expect the same financial spend despite our massive shortfall. It keeps going back to the same thing. It's our complete lack of support that's killing us, in terms of harbouring any ideas of getting back in the Prem. I do believe we have a plan of building slowly, and the general idea is our young team peaks sometime next season. With a few smart additions, we could have a decent side pushing for the play offs. You can spend a fortune and go nowhere. Look at Derby.
The smart clubs try find a way out without spending a bomb. Like Norwich & Sheff Utd. Their recruitment was spot on. I still question ours.

I think the 70 point mark is achievable. We can have a similar season to the last. And try improve on that 2 month period. I don't think 70 points is beyond us. I think top 10 should be our aim.
