Insolvency-level wages from the new Eddie Thompson who'll be doing a Melville if they stay doon. Record season ticket sales because we're doon as well will help, as will a potential full house for the first time in a decade. Em boycotting

10k a week for 3 players; a zero goals striker who replaced Curran cost half a million, Pawlett another 300k, Shankland close to a million over the contract length, serious risk involved there. Glad we're taking a measured approach for once.

I don’t want to sound jealous, but why has no one took a punt on him before, we were £50k short the other season from signing him, no SPL team ever linked with him, no lower league English team prepared to take a punt with what is sweetie money to them,

I think the football world know something that we the fans ain’t privy to, and known the club he’s signed for that could be anything

McCann paid 80k for Jack Hamilton yet wouldn't pay the asking price for Shankland who went on to have a very good 6 months, certainly provided a good laugh that Friday night the doonsters were humiliated at home
