    Is Rotherham United In Danger

In danger of having too many good players?

We saw that last season we fell short especially up front. The season before was at the back.

It looks like that apart from the goal keeper and a right back to challenge Jones we have a good group of good players.

Bloody hell it's been a while since we were in this position. Even talking about a player being sold doesn't raise concerns but only the clubs bank balance.

    Sack the board!

Sounds to me like we could be in danger of having a better squad than last year which begs the question why not do it last year?

In danger of winning the league yes.

In danger of getting carried away lol

The signings look promising but the old elephant in the room is still there regarding defensive mistakes costing points.

But let's wait and see, they might have worked on it.

    Optimistic at the moment

Optimism and Rotherham fans don't generally go together.
Wait till we lose a couple, normal service will be resumed.

Think your right Grist, the defensive frailties cost us last season. The good news could be we are likely to score more goals this year with the signings we have made so this might counter defensive frailties. Think it will be a tough league to get out of this season a lot more difficult than last time even if we have a better squad than last time. I'd like to see that right back, a goalie and a cb signed now to give us a decent chance.

Yes and the opposition won't be as good.

Not having a keeper signed yet is a bit troubling. You need your regular keeper set up if there's work to be done on defensive coaching. The defenders need to know the keepers style, ie "commands area", "prefers to catch or punch" etc

Whilst they look good acquisitions they need to gel together. 2+2=5.
That's the key to going up

Exactly, it'll no doubt be 'Warne Out' if we don't beat Wimbledon
