    Martinez

Maybe just paper talk but how do people feel about him? About 10 or so years ago i would have loved to see him at the toon as when he was at Swansea i thought his style of play was good. Since then his career has been very average and felt that managing a national team was more suited to him.
I feel that any new owners wouldn't have him down as first choice so if he does come then it feels like Ashley will be here for the long term.
Any manager taking over from Rafa is on a hiding to nowt, so would people be prepared to give him a chance?

I would prefer him over Hughes, Moyes, monk, pardew (a little bit of sick came up there) and most of what has been mentioned...

But in reality, I have no preference as if yet, because Rafa leaving is still raw and as things stand, I am just about ready to make my trial separation a full on divorce.

Apparently he has already distanced himself from the job.

Saying even if he was out of work, he wouldn't be interested in working for Ashley.

All of the decent managers know Newcastle is a poisoned chalice with that tw@t Ashley in charge and know enough to stay clear.

After the way Rafa was treat any decent manager wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole

The thing is, most managers would take the Newcastle job.
The only one's that wouldn't would be those that rely on kings ransom's in order to compete.
There'll be plenty of candidates hankering for this job, I think and not all will be what's deemed barrel scraping, in my opinion.

Would that be the Manager of the Bee Hive, Three Bulls or the Clock you are referring to ?
