I don't know what his net wage per week would be if he signed a contract at WBA. I have no idea what the going rate is to offer a 16 year old boy nowadays to turn professional. I am only guessing that if Barcelona or another continental club came along with an offer....that he would take it.....at 16? Who wouldn't? It has nothing to do with loyalty.....who were you loyal to at 16?
Football is broken and gone. I wouldn't get to bothered by it. He may very well get lots more income over there then in England...and most likely be able to retire very soon.....
