    Oban Tournament

Oban Tournament this Saturday. Any Arabs going? There's usually a few who turn up to support the club. I appreciate there's a game on Friday night, which could affect the number.
Haven't seen anything from United about the tournament. United have supported this event since Craig Levein's days, when he used to bring most of the first team squad.

It's on the Oban Saints twitter that United are going on Saturday. I'm going on holiday tomorrow or would definitely be there, it's a great day out.

Does anyone know how we got on/who was playing? I know Hamilton won it but that’s all.

Was it just the young one's playing or were the likes of Booth, Watson, Frans, Aird and Loemba too?

United didn't lose penalaties. - If you see United website, they lost on goal difference to Hamilton Accies.

The young squad did OK, average age was only 17. They went into the last game v Accies needing a point to retain the trophy. Unfortunately, the winning mentality that the club is trying to install is still work in progress. United lost 0 -1 to Accies - a goal in the last minute by the son of Simon Stainrod ( former Dundee manager )
The young squad did well, but couldn't get the last ***** point to win the cup.
On a bright note, Declan Glass was awarded Player of the Tournament.

There was a rival site to footymad called v!t4l, hence the blocking.
