Hear, hear - indeed best of luck Big Dave. All in all, was last season that bad!?

Finishing 4th in a tough league over 46 rounds, than going out in the semis due to:

    1. Ludicrous rules that away goals donít count.
    2. Bad ref 1st leg.
    3. A bit too defensive approach 1st leg by Shan when Vile where there for the taking.

And who was in charge for the majority of that season, played some great offensive football too, for that matter?

And, had Harvey Barnes stayed, Iím quite sure we would have reached automatic promotion.

Yet again, best of luck BD!

I was always taught that respect in life was earned and not an entitlement

Moore earned and retains my respect as a decent if not great player for us.

It should be remembered it took weeks to sign him.......he dillyed and dallied for ages and screwed us for every last penny before eventually signing!

I tend to remember these sorts of things.

I saw him work briefly as a pundit on the Midlands BBC football programme about 8/9 years ago.....he put me to sleep.

Trotting out cliches and gibberish at three miles an hour zzzzzzzzzzzz !!

Heís now in a low pressure job at a nothing club,if he canít cut it here then he canít cut it anywhere.

The man is a cone and bib carrier.

Exactly Swedie kid lol, Ive thought the same myself and as a complete neutral here I think he was very harshly dealt with!.
He did take you to the Play offs and the old original 'away goals' rule should have worked in your favour.
But, was the football under him dour and clueless etc, which a lot of your fans suggest ?.

Totally agree Mick apart from Doncaster being a no nothing club. They could overtake us next season and have a owner who CARES!

We are heading to be a no nothing club with an owner who does not give two f ucks about the current state of affairs! In simple words - heís a c unt!

West Brom are renowned for getting managers the sack...not least their own.

All the very best luck to DM.

Always be an Albion Legend who was only Gary Megson God status by the recall of Harvey Barnes and MP being made of glass.

The facts are the proof. 52% win rate. Bilic won't deliver that. Yet Bilic is worthy of respect and Moore is a poor manager? We all know that losing Harvey Barnes was the only reason we didn't go up.

Sorry Boingy - totally disagree! Moore was clueless - three at the back and it did not work - how many points did we lose before he realized? Wrong selections - Gayle on the wing FFS. Wrong subs! Three in the middle - Leeds away was a typical one where the formation was plain crazy with Barry in the middle and totally outpaced! HRK who is s hite was on the wing FFS! Don't get me going about the cup match against Brighton where DM lost us that game!

Good luck to him but he was completely out of his depth! I would guess he's on no less money at Doncaster so again the Board should be blamed for a cheap pathetic option - just like Shan!

Now with have a decent manager but no players! The opposite of last season!!! You can't make it up. Who the f uck is running this shambolic football club....

Pretty much spot on Al. It was a pity we got rid of Pardew and gave Moore those last few games in the Prem. It went well thus the board took the easy option of appointing Moore. We started okay in the Championship but it quickly deteriorated under DM with weird formations, selections and performances. It seemed the keeper was forced to play the ball to a defender, despite the presence of opposing players. If he hadn't had the fortune to have Barnes in the squad I think we would have been bottom 6 by Xmas. At least he kept selecting the lad!
Outsiders would think it looked like a strange dismissal but I'm surprised any Albion fans felt the same.
