    Sarasota game

Here's link to the full 90. Click the "wheel" symbol bottom right and select 480 quality for a better picture.

On the right hand side of the screen are a list of thumbnails of the highlights each with a descriptive title. One of which baffles me. It says Penalty. Missed. The video dosn't show a penalty kick being missed so I can only assume it means "it should have been one but the ref missed it".

Not sure but there are rumours that there was some low swing involved in both goals

Yes, playing the #10 role. Also IMO Lawro's best position.

Adi I would agree if he was the player he was three years ago But afraid he's not. Couldn't get in a struggling Hull side last season.

No agreed but could still do a job. Even if its just connecting midfield to strikers, or taking pressure off defence when we're getting battered. Wouldn't expect many goals. Better option than Nugent was!

Suspect the first task on Dowell’s job description will be ‘connecting midfield to strikers’ (no pun intended), but if Martin can prove himself up to some sort of job then fair play to him and he should have the opportunity to stake a claim.

He only seemed to truly perform under McClaren...don’t know why but it seems to be like that sometimes...maybe Cocu will be another to get the best from him but I seem to remember Martin, and Nugent, looking great in last year’s preseason then the real business started and that was the end of them.
