Threat to parking near Dens or tannadice

Is thon councillor a Dee or celtic fan?

Hardly anybody parks on the pavement, usual sledgehammer to crack a nut by trying to ban all parking between the provie Rd and Arklay street.

Folk won't get on the bus just clog up the streets slightly further away.

As soon as the futba starts these phuckers appear 20 mins after kick off and hand out tickets like confetti
    Pathetic but typical cooncil behaviour

You can complain to the council any time you think parking regulations are being flouted. Council is there to apply rules not just pick on the ones that they like.

No. Parking charges and the fines for parking in places that are yellow lined is a major source of revenue for the council. Park legally and you halve the amount of money the council gets. You should be able to find spaces to park legally, the downside will be that they will be farther away than the streets immediately round Dens and Tannadice.

Wonder if they will be increasing their council tax when they give them private parking....doubt it.

Dundee high school playing fields have cars parked right along the pavement on match days, doubt you'll ever see a traffic warden or traffic police booking them.

Parking restrictions are out in place where it is deemed a hazard to park, why then does the so called hazard disappear just because a car has a blue badge on the dash board

I think that parking on the pavement is difficult to control. You see it all over the place and, as you say, not every offender is booked. Perhaps a traffic warden might be able to explain the problem.
