    Time to pinch yourself....

We are buying players like a kid in a sweet shop, talking of stadium redevelopment, weve won a final at Wembley and a cup ultimately were in the premiership......just 12 months ago, we almost went bust, could not afford the tax bill, almost lost Jack, no defence, bruce in charge and owned by a great pretender!
Wow, what a difference a year makes, we should feel so fortunate we have new owners building a team around Jack, ridding the club of deadwood and a really bright future. We will play every game at VP infront of 40,000 fans, guys, Villa are back.....all this and the knuckle dwellers from small heath and sandwell are twisted with envy and jealousy!
Yes, im pinching myself right now!

Not winning against Derby was unthinkable. A few months ago I wanted the season to end. Now just buzzing and can't keep up with the transfers.

very exciting but a note of caution remember the year we bought all the Jordans...? we were excited but we went down! I'm sure that this time we are doing things differently, we have bought early, so players have a better chance to gel pre-season, and we have a great coaching team who seem to be creating a team ethos... So I'm hopeful but still a little fearful it could all go wrong. utv

Good points Mondaze. I think that's why we're probably paying slightly over the odds for players so we can get them in early. We need to hit the ground running.
Other clubs might have the luxury of penny pinching until the last day.
I'm predicting a slow start to the season but I think the second half will be better.
