A beautiful song somewhat spoiled now due to it's connection to LFC although I do enjoy seeing it sung at the start of their games. Same could be said about Bubbles and West Ham.

I think that you're spot on CAM. I do remember singing it at Millmoor but as a great song it has been ruined.

I prefer the fields of Athenry (ainfield Road)

I think TS thought we’d adopt New York New York.

And both Everton and Watford have the Z-Cars theme, a show that was set in Kirkby which is very near Liverpool, don't know what the Watford connection is.

I used to love it when we sang New York New York but then Sinatra ruined it.

    I swear we sang:

    You fill up my senses
    Like a gallon of Magnet
    Like a packet of Woodbine
Like a good pinch of snuff snuff snuff
Like a night out in Masbrough
    You do something to me
    You fill up my senses
    Come fill me again....

If those are the right words (for us)

    Before Sheffield United nicked it.

A Robin flew into my sons garden and I had an overwhelming urge to sing:

    When the Red Red Robin
    Comes Bob Bob Bobbin along
    Shoot the Bast##d
    Kill the the Bast##d
    Shoot the Bast##d

Funny old song that....a bit of a fill in song between main songs.

    Real TIVOLI song...!

There were many and that's why we won the only Kop Choir ever! But the Robin song wouldn't be allowed obviously. Halifax Town at Millmoor.

Can't heal myself sadly but tablets take the edge of a bit.

Only the oldies would remember that song.
