O/T Strange Things That Aren't As You Remember

As you get on a bit you start remembering things that may or not have happened. I have a vivid memory of walking through Sheffield City centre and them having electric double decker busses that played music because they were so quiet.

Is this a thing that happened or did I dream it?

    Going on cub trips!

Did the driver go back a different, shorter route and if so why? We always seemed to get back quicker!

I think that might have been an ice cream van.

Whenever I was ill as a child my Irish gran gave me warm boiled eggs with a scoop of butter chopped up in a tea mug.

She also said she’d have disowned me if I had spelled my son’s Conor name with 2 n’s because that was for ignorant English people.

    She was very special.

I remember going into Sheffield then going down an escalator and then past a big fish tank and some tramps.
