Three posters reckon that Ferguson should get credited for the assist (Cosgrove’s penalty)

Well, considering he got into a position, in possession of the ball, from which he may well have scored or assisted a scorer had he not been illegally impeded, I say he deserves to be credited with an assist.

.... but you have cited an example where you can only prove that term to be racist if you see it in text, and know the colour of each involved in the conversation .... if on the other hand it was spoken, 'chalky' could be misheard as 'chocky' .... and all sorts of mayhem could easily ensue!
