mcginn assist for consi surely
I’ll look at the highlights tomorrow.
I just say it as I see it.
The Berra one wasn’t an obvious pass (by Berra) and yes he made a very poor attempt to get a head on it.
As you wouldn’t disallow an award for a deflected goal that was in target, a poor attempt at a block / clearance that marginally changes direction shouldn’t stop an assist be awarded.
I don’t know why I’m rabbitting on as you agree
Anyway, today’s for me was the boy trying to pass out of defence, not a McGinn pass, but I’ll look again tomorrow.
I haven’t seen it yet either but I presume McGinn passed the ball to Cosgrove who apparently was fouled and it’s ended up falling to Considine who scored a really good goal according to the reports, well done to Considine by the way.
I don’t think either of them will be awarded an assist officially but if you are going to award one for this thread you have to award the other.
McGinns official stats for us are 296 games 81 goals and 73 assists.
That’s impressive for someone who takes a lot of stick for apparently doing fvck all most of the time.
mcginn got a toe on it to edge it to considine
