Let's hope he can behave himself now and concentrate on the cricket. It will be a waste of talent if he doesn't.

Agreed. Yorks has given him a second chance. Obviously better for the club if he doesnt get back into Eng reconing.

Apparently there was some controversy yesterday during Somerset,s second innings.
A Yorkshire fielder hit some pigeons during a throw back to the wicket which altered the trajectory of the ball.

The rules state that if the flock involves more than three birds then no more than two runs can be claimed in any event.
Somerset are already suggesting the match should be awarded as a tie

That one pigeon that kept returning to short-leg did it's best to distract the batsmen. No idea what it was pecking at, but the rest of the flock were over by the Western Terrace

Somerset 251 all out. York's won by innings and 73 runs. 10 wickets in match for Maharaj. Makes performance in previous game even more puzzling. Much improved display against the table-toppers

That's some result considering the previous game.
Well done Yorkshire and especially Maharaj.

Get in there lads, that is indeed an impressive result against a very under rated team like the apple dodgers of Somerset.
Its a shame that it wont matter in the long run as far as winning the county champship goes, but Im now looking forward to us starting what might be a good T20 part of the season.

Come on Barnsley... err soz I mean come on Yorkshire lol, thats just force of habit there.
