Interesting point that is frog, when jacket walked out on us, wasn't he banned from going to another team for a certain length of time? In jackets case he didn't have anyone lined up but I would have thought that even though Bruce has resigned, that compensation would still have to be payed if he went to Newcastle, as seems certain now.

I think it is funny that both Wednesday fans and Newcastle fans are pissed off about it.
He is set to become the lowest paid Premier League Manager on 1 million a year.
There is no loyalty in football no and Wednesday fans can moan all they like about Bruce being disloyal. they didn't exactly stay loyal to the last manager (mustache man) that they quickly sacked when things weren't what they wanted. they didn't treat Carlos or his dream that brilliantly at the end either.

Tough job yes, but worth Bruce having a pop at the job, in one season will probably earn the equivalent of two seasons at Hillsborough

The ground has been sold to a Shell company owned by Chansiri family to cover the losses of the last 2 years to avoid FFP sanctions. Unsustainable and typical of foreign owners playing Billy Big Balls.
Other clubs have and will follow down the same loophole until the FA close it and then they think of another.
It is all based on gambling on getting the Premiership TV Money £70 million a year. If they fail, there's £90 million in parachute payments to be had. Fans are fickle, they will enjoy the ride until it all goes tits up.
