    Stenhousemuir Predictions

What are people's thoughts on the outcome of this tonight.

I will go with Stenhousemuir 0 United 5 (Shankland x3 and Clark x2).

A high scoring win with the strikers getting a few goals can only help confidence wise and hopefully create some momentum for the other group games.

0-3 Utd. Hopefully more though. We need to start putting these teams to bed and getting bit more confident in our play.

Looking at the stats on Bet365....new season, same old sh!te. Even though we’ve just scored, it’s 2 shots on target and 2 off after 53mins. Not good enough!

sounds like we're no creating anything for Shankland which is a concern...

Cos we keep playing the same negative football. As the saying goes....”The best form of defence is attack”, yet we persist with the same 1 up front formation, and tippy tappy pish across defence/midfield with no penetration or threat, and more often than not, our CB’s don’t have the skill/composure to play that way, and we bring trouble upon ourselves!

If Neilson doesn’t change his approach, and get us off to a flier in the league, the knives will be out for him very early into this season. He’s got no excuses, everything now fully under his control (players, tactics, etc.).
